Geiger Counters in ARC Raiders are one of those items that make you feel like the game's messing with you. You hit Stage 5 of Trophy Display, you need one, and suddenly they're nowhere. Then later you realise they're not just a quest checkbox—recycling them turns into modules and batteries you'll want for higher-end crafting. If you're keeping a stash plan (or even checking what you'll need next on an ARC Raiders BluePrint list), it's worth treating every counter like a little jackpot, not a disposable pickup.

If you've been bouncing between maps hoping RNG will do you a favour, stop. Right now, Stella Montis is the place that matters. And even on Stella, it's not "anywhere outside." You need interiors marked as Exodus loot zones. That's the catch. Those buildings pull in the sweatiest squads and the most annoying AI, so it's never a calm shopping trip. But if you're looting fields and roadside boxes, you're basically rolling a die that can't land on what you need.

The most reliable route I've had is up north in the Assembly area, inside the Assembly Workshops. It's not magic, it's density. More containers means more chances, simple as that. Go room by room and hit everything, not just the "big" chests. The counters tend to show up in the practical container types: yellow tool stands, white medical carts, blue cabinets, plus those breachable server lockers that slow you down at the worst times. You'll feel exposed while you're doing it, too. Footsteps echo, doors creak, and you know someone's holding an angle because they heard you rummaging.

If Assembly is already stripped or it's turning into a warzone, swing to Medical Research. It doesn't always feel like the obvious Exodus hotspot, but it's packed with searchable clutter—tall racks, desk bins, the kind of places you'd normally ignore when you're rushing. Funny thing is, that's where I've had "dead" Workshop runs get saved. Some players run a simple loop: Workshops first, Medical second, then extract if the bag's getting heavy. It's not glamorous, but it keeps you moving and stops you from tunnelling on one building.

Geiger Counters are epic-rarity, so droughts happen. You can do three raids and see nothing, then pull two almost back-to-back. People argue about night raids helping high-tier spawns; maybe it's real, maybe it just feels calmer so you loot better. Either way, the practical answer is the same: keep hitting Stella Montis interiors, keep clearing containers, and recycle what you don't need so the grind feeds future gear. If you're planning long-term crafting, it also helps to track what you're missing early—especially if you're comparing parts against a cheap ARC Raiders BluePrint reference while you decide what's worth hauling out under pressure.
